Music Production Expert - Norwegian
**Mercor is hiring experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models, in partnership with a leading AI lab.**
You will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres and rate it against detailed quality standards, working in Norwegian and English.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality
- Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics
- Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy

What we look for
- Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality
- Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics
- Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
- Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
- 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
- Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition
- Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work
- Broad familiarity with contemporary Norwegian genres, sub-genres, and artists
- Start date: immediate
- Duration: up to 6 months
- Commitment: flexible. Most experts work around 20 hours per week; there is no cap
